Meet: 10.45am for 11am start outside Finsbury Park Station, Station Place, Finsbury Park, London N4 2DH

This walk starts at Finsbury Park Station and looks at some of the Black History that connects the area with its large African and Caribbean population. Your guide, Avril Nanton, will take you around the area, pointing out interesting and fascinating historical places that you've probably walked past many times.

This walk will look at: The Black Art Gallery; Aquarius Hairdressing; Fonthill Road; The Rainbow Theatre; plus the iconic New Beacon Bookshop.
