We’re In Business – Walking Tour of Tottenham High Road

Our Munch and Listen this month is out and about, taking us on a tour of Tottenham High Road with Carol Hebbs of Tottenham Heritage Walks. Guiding us down the High Road looking for clues of yesteryear, Carol will share memories and stories of growing up in Tottenham in the ‘60s, the days of the department stores and and half day closing. In its ‘60s heyday Tottenham was the place to shop. You could find anything you needed, from a new suit to wear to the Royal, to record shops for the latest vinyl releases or your daily shopping in Sainsburys with its marble counters.
This walk will last approximately 90 minutes.
Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear.
Meet: 12 noon (for 12.15pm start) by the clocktower main entrance at Bruce Castle Museum.
