Curator's Pick: Portraits for Posterity
Image
Photographs and Stories of Holocaust Survivors from Haringey.
With Dr Jan Marsh, Curator, Writer, Researcher
Free event, all welcome
Come and see the Portraits for Posterity Collection at Bruce Castle Museum & Archive and hear from Dr Jan Marsh, one of the curators of this unique project undertaken between 2007-2009. Photographed by Matt Writtle and curated by Jacki Reason and Jan Marsh, these poignant photographic portraits commemorate some Holocaust survivors from Haringey, part of a wider collection of portraits of survivors of the Nazi Holocaust who made their homes in Britain. Their faces tell a story. One that should never be forgotten.
Copies of the book that bring together all the images and stories will also be available.
Please book your free ticket for this in person talk at the Museum via Eventbrite.
