Bruce Castle is taking part in the 2023 Open House Festival!
Just drop-in to the Museum for our Open House events - no booking required.
See behind the scenes and explore the historic rooms on a curator-led guided tour about the architectural designs and evolution of Grade 1 listed Bruce Castle. You can find out about the secrets, mysteries and intriguing stories of the building and the people who lived here, including voices of servants who are often overlooked.
Tours are complemented by activities for families. Visitors can explore the museum's current exhibitions and displays about the history of the manor house. Families can enjoy dressing up and explore the building and park on trails.
A pop-up café will be running all weekend.
Event details:
Guided tours - 1-4pm (approximately every half an hour from 1pm)
Family activities: dress up, Bruce Castle style - 1-4pm
